A&S Funeral Services was established in 1984, making us the longest-serving funeral business in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Our founder, Mr. Elbert Higgs of North Caicos, began his work as a mortician several years before starting the business and is the longest-serving mortician in the islands.
The legacy of both our founder and our business is something that we strive to uphold every day as we attend to the needs of our clients with the utmost respect, professionalism, and grace.
In 2013, Mr. Higgs handed over the operation of A&S Funeral Services to his eldest daughter, Adelphine Higgs-Pitter. A caring and compassionate individual, Adelphine was the obvious choice to lead the business into a new era, one that embraces both traditional and contemporary life celebrations.
We have a dedicated team of employees serving all islands, most of whom have been with the company for over ten years, and we are continuously growing.
At A&S Funeral Services, we believe that everyone deserves a dignified and loving burial. To this aim, we provide a range of services, which include pre-funeral arrangements, embalming, casket selection, funeral directing, flower arrangements, and burial. There are no crematoriums in the Turks and Caicos. A & S have existing relationships with overseas crematories who can carry out this service
