On 24th June 1934 on the Island of North Caicos in the settlement of Bottle Creek a beautiful baby girl was born to Emmanuel and Henrietta Higgs and they named her Olive Unima Higgs. From probably an infant, Olive’s parents instilled in her a love of God and Jesus Christ which she maintained throughout her life. She was a devoted churchgoer, her church of note in the Turks and Caicos Islands was Trinity Baptist Church in North Caicos.
